Our group responses are as follows:
Remove anything from your bedside area including paperwork, magazines, & loud alarm clock.
Toss, donate, recycle or re-gift anything you don’t need or love.
Relocate anything that doesn’t belong in the bedroom & return the items to their appropriate location.
Use small table, chair, night stand or bedside caddy for organization..
Items to keep in your bedside area: cell phone, gentle alarm clock, night light, favorite book or magazine, radio for quiet music, closed container for water & small pack of tissues.
I never use my bedside table except to store junk in. I have taken that space- decluttered and made a home for my sleep masks, medication, earplugs, water bottles, lip balm, handcream, pen and paper. I feel pampered. I have on my bottom drawer, a bible, headphones, heating pad, a book called a book of comfort which I hope to start reading once I am organized and a journal which would be a great day to write down my little success like this in.
My group recommends the following: Remove anything from your bedside area that detracts from a sense of calm and tranquility, such as: Paperwork; books; magazines and Unpleasant alarm. We suggest using a bedside caddy/organizer for your favorite book, magazine, cell phone, tissues, etc.
Ahhh…now to sleep in peace!
I must have my bedside area clear to sleep. I have a history of sleeping poorly so don’t bring phones or work into my bedroom at all. I have some slim drawers by my bedside that are full of make up, so the squirrel in me needs to sort those!
