It’s time for the final day of the 30-Day Weight Loss-athon. What a journey it’s been!
All tasks in the 30-Day Weight Loss-athon are adapted from my 52 Weight Loss Missions program.
Read the steps first, then take 10 minutes to think about and complete them. Ready?
Our group responses are as follows: For example, you may feel drawn to one or more of these:
• No longer reading magazines that put people down Yes
• Dressing better every day: We need a reason to dress up. Most of the time we dress down.
• Making more effort with your grooming or appearance Hair maintenance & good hygiene
• Focusing on your posture – standing, sitting and walking tall Yes which improves your self-esteem
• Speaking up in meetings Yes
• Asking for what you want – graciously but clearly Yes for assertiveness
• Giving up junk entertainment – TV shows, books and movies that don’t enrich your life Everything in moderation
• Giving up gossip Yes creates problems drama is a bad thing
• Being more positive Always positive attitude
• Showing more kindness Random acts of kindness
• Learning public speaking Toastmasters are excellent at public speaking
• Reading inspiring books and biographies Inspirational; Margaret Truman; famous people’s biographies
• Learning a new skill Yes we are eager to expand our knowledge
This is the final day of your 30 Day Weight Loss athon. Write in your journal the changes you have made since you started this program including your positive changes. Continue to make healthy changes: exercising; eating healthy; improving your appearance; keep setting goals that you can ascertain and continued Good Luck to all of you. Michele is the Queen of organizing your life and weight loss. Make a commitment to yourself to continue to ascertain the healthy you – remember, your body has to last you a lifetime. Congratulations!
