Hi everyone! I’m not sure when you guys started but I’d love to jump in?? I’m a 43 year old mom of two. I’ve been a yoyo dieter all my adulthood. I decide no more and told myself last time no more yoyo ing…it’s that word yoyoing?? =) so I just starting(again) a beachbody exercise program that I have had. Then saw the 30 day weight loss a thon and thought Imust join in! My weight loss problems are needing motivation & how to handle the stress differentially, now when I’m stressed I just eat whatever. I’m a little late checking in. My browser wasn’t allowing me to comment. I am a 62 year old widow who enjoys Zumba and travel. I have lost 40 pounds since last June but have sort of been stuck there for a bit, lacking motivation. I am hoping that joining here plus the fact that Spring IS coming will give me the drive needed to help me get where I need to go. I eat pretty healthy, but I think my biggest problem is portion control. I have to learn that I cannot have that ‘full’ feeling that always cued me in that the meal was over. Also, I have to think of food as fuel and not entertainment or comfort. I can and I will do this.
Hi. I’m Carol…the lifetime yo-yo dieter looking to lose weight for the FINAL time. I’m starting Weight Watchers again tomorrow, and starting this Lose-athon ( just a bit late) in hopes of good tips, and a lot of motivation, as well as recommendations/thoughts on how to maintain a great stick-with-it, stick-to-it attitude on a daily basis. I am currently in the menapausal phase of my life so I have added inches to my middle, and also have a slowed metabolism, making it even harder to lose weight. I’m not blaming weight gain on this, I’m just saying these are some of the obstacles that contributed to the weight gain, and now the obstacles that are making it harder to lose the weight. I’m just looking to get to a healthy weight, and incorporating exercise as part of my daily routine. I’m looking forward to this 30-Day Lose-athon!
