@Jayme: I remember you ‘ducking out’ of the 30-DO to have your baby – congratulations on your daughter! Thank you for your recommendations to friends. Maybe power decluttering will be the new labor-inducer! M š
I was so excited when i started the challenge even at 37 weeks pregnant LOL i was LOVING it & my house had never looked so good it was gleaming š but i only got up to day 7 and went into labour. My princess is now almost 12 weeks old and i want to start the challenge all over again & get back on top of housework & the organizing. I have also reccomended the 30 day challenge to a few of my pregnant friends so maybe they will go into labour a lil early aswell hehe š
@Barb: I love your attitude! Progress – not perfection – is definitely the way to go. You will get there. š
I’m still working on it. It will probably take me all summer but that’s okay with me…just as long as I keep making progress. Thank you for breaking it down in such an easy to apply approach. It is giving me the confidence to look at this “stuff” in a whole different light and the permission to part with it.
@Sandra Lee: Thank you for your lovely comments and your feedback!
I found the program helped to bring out the motivational side of me. I accomplished so much in very little time. I think breaking things down as you did really simplifies what can truly be an overwhelming project. I found myself completing a day’s task and wanting to accomplish the next day’s task as well.
I think there were a few areas not listed within the 30 days that I included for myself. The cabinet under the kitchen sink, and a foyer closet is probably areas within a home most people have, and they truly do get unruly. I also have a storage area where I store holiday decorations and stock items which tends to need a sprucing up now and again. I don’t have children or an information center in my home so, I choose to insert the kitchen sink and foyer closet in those areas instead.
Overall, this was just what I needed to help me focus on rejuvinating problem areas within my home, and I honestly think it is a process I will repeat in the future.
Thanks for the guidance. Best wishes to you for success!
