30-Day Organize-athon | Day 21: Organize Your Pantry

30-Day Organize-athon 21

Welcome to the 30-Day Organize-athon!

In today’s 5 minutes we’re going to express-organize your pantry.

Let’s start.

Day 21: Organize Your Pantry

Step 1: Grab a bag and open your pantry. Quickly scanning your shelves from top to bottom, toss into the bag anything that:

  • Has passed its use-by date
  • Is stale or unappetizing
  • No-one eats.

Step 2: Do a quick tidy of the remaining items in your pantry.

And you’re done!

Got an Extra 5 Minutes?

  1. Wipe down your pantry shelves.
  2. Check your stores of pantry staples. Add anything you need to your shopping list.
  3. Notice anything you have in excess supply. Make a mental note to stop buying these items.

Now doesn’t that feel fresher!

The 30-Day Organize-athon Mantra

Move fast. Don’t overthink. Let it go!

5 min = 1 shelf done! 1 shelf done = better than it was.
Days 1 – 21 all complete. Small incremental progress = eventual big results. 🙂

  2. Miriam B. says:

Don’t have a pantry as such. But just cleared out my drawers the other day. (Doing this regularly). Done!

Done with no real surprises, I’ve been running down the contents.
Tomorrow I’m aiming for an inventory to find recipes use up all items.

This so needed to be done. Took a few more than 5 though… Guess that indicates how bad it was.

  6. Judith says:

I have a fantastic pantry, and a wonderful daughter who keeps on top of its contents, so – DONE!

  7. Raleigh says:

    I’m done too 🙂

I removed 18 single serve cans of baked beans from the pantry and left 4. I also remove 10 tins of sardines and left 2, blerrhhhh!!!!! Just need to find somewhere near me that accepts tin foods now.

  8. Dawn Yates says:

Okay, so I’m up in the middle of the night organizing my pantry while trying not to wake anyone else up. Mission accomplished!!
