I’m in! I am starting a new business, I am an independent Arbonne Consultant. I want to become more organized personally so I can run my Arbonne business better organized and successfully! Thanks for the motivation. Now, kick me in the b**t to keep me going!!

I’m in! I may not be able to do all 30 days straight through in order (due to an excess of poorly-timed events, I have a trip during the last week and will have to prioritize projects related to major kitchen remodeling starting in February) but my house is *beyond* cluttered and into just plain messy and it’s driving me nuts!

I have trouble being ruthless when it comes to purging, we have an excess of family heirlooms, and at the moment we have things spread out all over the house in the wrong rooms or with no place that’s really “away” for them. Kitchen remodel will add lots of storage but right now the house is too messy and unorganized to even handle the remodeling project, we have a lot of space to clear before it starts. Wish me luck!

@Vera: Trust your motivation! If you feel energized to complete a room, then let the momentum carry you. But if you feel tired of a room, then move on quickly. People get overwhelmed when they try to push against their own energy. Just keep working, don’t over-think, and move quickly!!

January 1, 2012 – a new day, a new year, a new me. I have read many organization books, but am a procrastinator. I am down-sizing from 3 bedroom/2 bath home for the last 42 years to go into Independent Living in a one bedroom apartment. I am beginning the 30-day plan today! I have one question, I know I will not be able to complete a room in 5 minutes. I will give more time to each, but should I continue one room before going to the next one? I do know there are some rooms I don’t have that will give me a chance to keep going and/or go to a room I do have that is not on the schedule. I am eager to get my home staged for selling and know this plan will help. My goal is to be ready by March 1st. Also, is there feedback on how these others did?

Starting my 30 day organization blitz! I’m excited to simplify my life and take control of those things I can while letting go of those I can’t. Thank you Michele for the tips, tricks and help with motivation.

Starting today! August 4th, my daughters first birthday party is Sept 4th, so I can’t wait to see the end result.

Finished yesterday’s task – cleaning out my hanging closet & took all of the clothes (2 full bags) to the Salvation Army today! this is working.
Already had done the kitchen drawer clean up last week, to give everything I didn’t need to my younger son for his new apartment, so the day 3 item was done in less than 5 minutes!

I’ve been spending way too much time on de-cluttering and organizing over the last two weeks. Need this guidance to help me pinpoint next steps & compartmentalize my efforts. I have started today and intend to continue for the full month.
