Can you believe it – we’re halfway through the year! It’s a good time to reflect on those new year’s resolutions we made 6 months ago.
If you’re on track, congratulations! If not, here’s a quick tip for making resolutions that are a lot more likely to stick – any time of the year.
Getting Organized Quick Tip #2:
To improve your chance of achieving your goal, sticking to your resolution or realizing your plan, make it a SMART goal:
-
Specific
-
Measurable
-
Achievable
-
Relevant
-
Time-framed.
If you’re not familiar with SMART Goals, you might like my article How To Set SMART Goals, which shows you how to take a generic resolution, like ‘losing weight’, and make it SMART.
The article includes a downloadable SMART Goal Planner, plus a video showing you how to use the Planner to set your own goals.
Try it yourself – and then I’d love you to share your ‘Before’ and ‘After’ goal or resolution in the comments. 🙂
