Welcome to Mission 30 of our 52 Get Organized Missions.
For some of us, being organized is an end in itself – a sense of order and freedom from clutter bring us pleasure and happiness.
For the rest of us, being organized is a means to an end – a smarter path to the things we want. By applying a little thought and planning, we increase the chances and reduce the effort of achieving our goals.
Managing stress is one such goal. Many of us deal with daily stresses, but few of us take an organized approach to thinking about what stresses us out, and how to better handle these triggers. So let’s spend this week’s 30 minutes doing just that.

Our list of triggers are as follows: getting caught in traffic; bad weather; disagreements; calling to have a bill corrected that was issued wrong; children misbehaving: do you have someone you can talk to or can come over and give relief; how to deal with irate people: listen to them or get coherency out of them if you cannot walk away before you say the wrong thing.
Our stress relief would be as follows: take a deep breath; argument excuse yourself to another room and collect yourself – if you can’t collect yourself do not return to the room; flick a band on your wrist to stay calm; count to 10; smiling always for happiness and peace of mind.
This list of triggers is great. There is value in identifying these so we know how to respond when something ‘sets us off’. Wait times on fixing an incorrect bill is infuriating for me too!
