When you stumble, make it part of the dance.
What a great antidote for perfectionism!
If you’re human, you’ll make mistakes – so you might as well embrace them.
Don’t waste your energy trying to hide or cover up your missteps. Just laugh – and keep moving.
And don’t let your fear of being imperfect stop you from doing the things you want to. Instead, decide to do them, imperfectly.
If you’re nervous to start that dance you’ve been dreaming about – to begin a relationship, write a novel, organize your home, lose weight, make a career change – then maybe this perspective will help you to start dancing.
What dance do you want to do? Will you take the first step?
Good post thank you for this you share
*If you stumble make it part of the dance
I’m afraid to take a lot of first steps so I remain in my comfort zone either good or bad. It holds me back from growing as a person 🙁
My group agrees their is no perfect person. Life’s detours, road blocks and making wrong decisions — analyze the situation — take the educational piece you learned — then full speed ahead continue on your life’s path.
Yes we will take the first step with you.
